Position Title and Company Information:


This position as a medical imaging technician at MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center provides valuable contributions to the healthcare team.


Under limited direction of the supervisor and with medical direction of the radiologist, this role involves carrying out appropriate procedures, maintaining records, assisting in interpreting films, and providing technical instruction to students and hospital staff.

  • Carries out prescribed CT procedures to produce images and develops film.
  • Performs and maintains equipment calibration and quality control.
  • Assists in scheduling patients and maintains related records.
  • Reviews films and injects contrast materials under the direction of the radiologist.
  • Participates in training student technologists and educating hospital staff on CT procedures.
  • Contributes to standby on-call coverage as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be ARRT registered and a graduate of Radiologic School.
  • CT board registration within one year of hiring.
  • Prior CT experience preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to adapt to changing duties.
