Position Details:

The TCU Biology Department invites you to apply for a visiting lecturer position beginning August 2024. This full-time faculty position is for one academic year (fall 2024 and spring 2025) and is on-campus and in-person. Successful candidates will be in the classroom an average of 12 hours per week and the primary assigned teaching load will include sections of a non-majors Biology course with corresponding laboratory sections. Other courses assigned to the candidate will be dependent upon their area of expertise and departmental needs. We welcome qualified candidates within all subfields of biology to apply. Candidates with expertise in physiology and/or human anatomy are especially encouraged to apply. We seek candidates who are committed to providing all students with a supportive learning environment and contributing to inclusive excellence in our university community. A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Biological Sciences or related field is required. Experience in undergraduate teaching and evidence of a strong teaching record are preferred.
