  • Starting Pay is $17.50+ per hour for Day Assistant Managers and increases to $19.00 per hour for Night Managers.

JOB SCOPE:

The Assistant Manager acts as the junior assistant to the RGM and offers extra management support during operating hours, overseeing operations directly within a single unit. The Assistant Manager engages with customers and team members to ensure customer contentment. The role involves complete oversight of facility and equipment upkeep, adherence to detailed cleaning schedules, and precise financial management. Human resource duties include team training, continuous coaching, feedback, and safety inspections. The Assistant Manager actively engages in operational tasks to train employees, address customer needs, or exemplify desired skills and conduct in the restaurant.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensures speedy, accurate service and maintains positive guest relationships.
  • Guarantees products align with company quality standards.
  • Upholds compliance with OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety protocols.
  • Aids in profit and loss management by following cash control/security practices, managing inventory, overseeing labor, reviewing financial statements, and taking appropriate measures.
  • Assists RGM in team member recruitment and interviews; conducts performance evaluations, implements corrective actions, motivates, and trains.
  • Follows Taco Bell guidelines and processes to prioritize food safety.
  • Ensures food quality and 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Ensures complete and timely execution of corporate and local marketing strategies.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 6 to 12 months of supervisory experience in food service, retail, or customer service, with profit and loss responsibility.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
  • Must have the ability to work flexible hours.
  • Must obtain food safety and handlers certifications.
  • Must possess strong analytical skills.
  • Customer service, conflict resolution, oral and written communication, and basic business math and accounting skills are necessary.
  • Preferred experience with personal computers.

  • Adapts quickly and effectively communicates thoughts and concerns in a constructive manner.
  • Understands and applies basic employment regulations and laws.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Capable of standing for up to 10 hours per shift.
  • Occasionally lifts and carries up to 50 pounds, constantly handles up to 30 pounds.
  • Frequently pushes and pulls up to 20 pounds.
  • May require occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, overhead lifting, and ladder work.
  • Consistently engages in reaching and grasping tasks.
  • Bends, handles, manipulates objects, and types frequently.
  • Repetitive use of hands and feet is necessary.
