Position Purpose:
  • Analyze vast datasets comprehensively to extract valuable insights that directly influence business decisions.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to pinpoint areas of value, devise solutions, and provide insights that enhance members' clinical outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
  • Interpret and assess data from various sources, including healthcare providers, members, patients, and third parties.
  • Support the implementation of large-scale projects with minimal supervision from leadership.
  • Detect and investigate data irregularities to present findings and suggested solutions to management and clients.
  • Handle multiple tasks and data review processes efficiently within set deadlines.
  • Aid in designing, testing, and executing process improvements while identifying automation opportunities.
  • Utilize quantitative analysis, data mining, and data presentation skills to uncover insights beyond numbers and understand customer interactions with analytical products.
  • Communicate findings and insights effectively to non-technical business partners through various mediums.
  • Independently gather requirements and validate results by engaging with customers and business partners.
  • Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders, incorporating feedback effectively.
Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Should have 2+ years of experience in working with extensive databases, data verification, data management, or 1+ years of IT experience. Preferred background in healthcare analytics. Proficient in SQL and query languages with additional proficiency in coding languages like Python and R. Knowledge of statistical, analytical, or data mining techniques, including basic data modeling and trend analysis. Familiarity with modern business intelligence and visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI.

Pay Range:

Salary ranging from $54,000 to $97,100 annually.
Centene provides various benefits that include competitive pay, health insurance, 401K, stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, holidays, and flexible work arrangements encompassing remote, hybrid, field, or office setups. Actual pay will be adjusted based on individual skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. Total compensation may involve additional incentives.
