Private Equity Focused Professionals Finance & Accounting (F&A)

Our team brings a structured and disciplined approach to create and capture value, offering a wide range of knowledge and tools for various deal scenarios for private equity buyers. This includes mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, spins, joint ventures, and alliances.

The PEPI F&A M&A group consists of seasoned Finance & Accounting consulting professionals who provide practical advice to private equity clients and their portfolio companies throughout the deal lifecycle.

F&A Manager - Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced F&A Manager to join our PEPI M&A practice. The ideal candidate will have 5-8+ years of F&A experience, with expertise in areas such as treasury, financial diligence, internal controls/audit, FP&A, and Controllership. M&A experience, especially with private equity clients, is a key requirement for this role.

The Manager will interact with key client contacts, including the C-suite and Board, and will be responsible for supporting all finance and accounting operations related to the transaction. This includes activities from due diligence to deal execution, collaborating with third parties, and ensuring a smooth operational execution of the deal.

Typical responsibilities for the F&A M&A Manager may include:

  • Supporting Day-1 readiness across all F&A sub-functions
  • Coordinating finance and accounting integration
  • Owning the integration plan and execution
  • Engaging with cross-functional teams during the M&A process
  • Analyzing target company data and supporting with diligence
  • Establishing rapport with clients at all levels
  • Designing interim and future-state operating models
  • Managing project updates and communication within the organization

The salary for this position ranges from $125,000 to $190,000 annually, based on factors such as education, experience, skills, and location. Additionally, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program tied to individual and firm performance.
