Boar's Head Resort is now accepting applications for seasonal Lifeguards to join our Sports Club team As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for enforcing all pool policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all members and guests.

Some essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide pool surveillance with 100% attention across different pools and locations.
  • Enforce all policies and procedures described in the Aquatics Staff Manual.
  • Play a key role in implementing the Emergency Action Plan when required.
  • Document all incidents on appropriate incident report forms.
  • Maintain good communication with all staff members.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all members and guests according to 4 Diamond Service Expectations.
  • Help maintain the cleanliness of the pool and surrounding facility.
  • Arrive on-time, ready and dressed appropriately for each shift.
In order to be considered, you must meet the following requirements:

Essential
  • Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR for Professional Rescuer and AED Certified.
  • Ability to swim 300 yards non-stop and retrieve/swim a 10 pound brick.
  • Possess high level of responsibility and attention.
Desirable
  • Strong abilities in swimming.
  • At least 16 years of age or older
  • Previous experience teaching/coaching swimming.
  • Background knowledge of pool chemistry.
  • Prior lifeguard experience.
  • Prior guest services experience.
