Job Description:

As a Business Intelligence Strategist at Darwill, you'll lead our efforts in translating data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making. You'll oversee business intelligence (BI) strategy, dashboards, and reports. Utilizing creative thinking and UI skills, you'll craft clear and intuitive visual solutions. Your role involves understanding business needs to create engaging presentations and reports, catering to diverse audiences. Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on designing and implementing comprehensive BI strategies that align with Darwills business goals. Ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely reports and dashboards to support data-driven decisions.
  • Understanding data and translating it into visuals that convey the appropriate story and context to an audience with varying knowledge bases.
  • Leading the development and maintenance of scalable reporting solutions, supporting various teams within the organization.
  • Working with a variety of business partners to understand and fulfill project requirements and strategies when developing assets.
  • Overseeing the selection and implementation of BI tools and technologies, ensuring they meet the company's data analysis, reporting, and visualization needs.
  • Driving the adoption of data-driven culture across the organization, providing training and support to ensure effective use of BI solutions.
  • Performing complex analytical and visualization projects using a wide variety of technology platforms and data sources.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience, preferably in performance-based marketing industries.
  • Adapts to changing priorities, deadlines, and directions.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, accountable for accuracy.
  • Proven experience in a BI role, with a strong track record of developing effective strategies and solutions.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business and client insights.
  • Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) providers that connect marketing, analytics, and CRM platforms for customizable reporting and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices in performance tuning and user-centric design.
  • Certifications and/or expertise with data visualization tools e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Ninjacat, or other dashboarding platforms as well as advanced SQL.
  • Knowledge of cloud data solutions such as Snowflake or Redshift.
  • Knowledge of business KPIs using data from Google Analytics or Marketing applications.
  • Experience designing rich graphic visualizations for the modular design of dashboards and developing user interfaces or dashboards, including metrics, filters, charts, graphs, and tables.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience integrating Big Data platforms as a data source for creating data visualizations.
