JOB POSTING - Training and Technical Assistance (TA) Specialist

The Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County is seeking a passionate Training and Technical Assistance (TA) Specialist to join their dedicated team.

As a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are committed to creating a community-wide effort to ensure that every child is prepared for success in both school and life through exceptional early learning environments.

SUMMARY:

This role involves supporting the delivery of training and assistance for School Readiness, Voluntary Prekindergarten, and CSC Scholarship childcare programs at ELC.

HOURS:

This is a full-time position located in Boynton with standard business hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional need for extended hours, evenings, and weekends.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Attend Train the Trainer (TTT) developer trainings to conduct sessions for various audiences.
  • Collaborate with quality program staff to develop and lead workshops addressing providers' needs on probation and corrective actions.
  • Design training materials suited to the delivery method and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Stay updated on local and national early childhood trends and adult learning processes.
  • Implement Abuse/Neglect reporting procedures and contribute to programmatic reports.
  • Ensure compliance with reporting procedures, offer necessary training, and provide status updates in different formats.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in a relevant field.
  • Four years of related experience and/or training.
  • Prior experience in training or workshop facilitation.
  • Completion of CLASS Observation course and Teachstone CGC-MMCI training certification.
