About the Job:

We are seeking a Finance and EDP Division Contracts Manager who will play a key role in enhancing our contracts processes and ensuring strategic alignment in negotiations for aerospace agreements. In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, providing valuable insights for improving terms and conditions. The ideal candidate must possess a strong sense of autonomy and exhibit excellent decision-making capabilities while supporting the development of efficient contracting processes.

Job Description:

The Finance and EDP Division Contracts Manager will be responsible for setting strategic revisions to terms and conditions for commercial or Government contracts within the aerospace sector. Working closely with the Contracts Director, this individual will oversee contract negotiations, drive process enhancements, and ensure compliance with corporate policies. Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating contracts, maintaining contracting metrics, and supporting the development of comprehensive contracting policies.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on contracting-related matters at the Division level.
  • Review and redline various agreements, highlighting commercial terms and risk factors.
  • Facilitate internal contract review sessions, ensuring stakeholder involvement.
  • Maintain contracting metric performance utilizing technological tools.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of comprehensive contracting policies and processes.
  • Conduct training sessions on contracting policies for business development employees.
  • Support business leaders in negotiations and occasionally engage in direct customer negotiations.
  • Act as a backup for other members of the Contracts Team as required.

Experience & Education:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Aerospace manufacturing contracts management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field; contracts certifications preferred.
  • Practical experience in commercial contracting and subcontracting, including terms negotiation.
  • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma, FAR/DFARS regulations, and Aerospace market practices.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for meetings and training sessions.
  • Familiarity with virtual meeting software such as "Teams".
