Director of Business Development - Assisted Living Chain Sales
The Director of Business Development for Assisted Living Chains leads the charge in acquiring new customers in this sector, with a specific focus on chain establishments.
In this role, you will report to the Division Vice President, working closely with various teams to drive growth strategies, sales execution, and contribute significantly to PharMerica's revenue targets.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Business Development Associate and Associate Vice Presidents to identify and target new customers and expand existing business relationships
- Provide guidance, training, and support to the Business Development Associate (BDA) to ensure a unified approach in maximizing sales strategies and growth opportunities
- Work cross-functionally to implement growth initiatives and ensure smooth onboarding of new business aligned with client management plans within the Assisted Living chains
- Maintain and update CRM databases with detailed Assisted Living chain profiles, competitive intelligence, and strategic planning information for these clients
- Act as a bridge between the inside sales team and regional client managers, ensuring a seamless transition for new Assisted Living chain clients
- Continuously enhance processes by analyzing client feedback, identifying areas for development, and implementing strategies for consistent business growth in the Senior Living sector
- Utilize industry data to pinpoint lucrative assisted living chain prospects
- Assist in various projects as delegated by the DVP
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in direct B2B sales
- At least 2 years of experience in pipeline forecasting or account management within senior living or LTC sector
- 2 years of experience in a collaborative team environment across functions
- Proficiency in LTC B2B sales, new sales pipeline management, upselling, client management, and retention
- Demonstrated success in achieving financial/revenue targets
- Familiarity with LTC service offerings and competitive landscape of the LTC pharmacy sector
- Experience in planning, organizing, executing marketing and sales campaigns collaboratively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, CRM proficiency, sales expertise, and a proven track record in client management
- Basic proficiency in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
- Fulfill job responsibilities in compliance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, policies, regulations, and professional standards
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
