About the Role:
As a key member of our team, you will oversee the administration of patient care operations, ensuring top-notch care delivery and treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and actively participate in patient care operations.
- Improve operational practices through continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Provide financial oversight including supply inventory and equipment budget management.
- Maintain practice standards and develop staffing plans.
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements for clinical services and lead accreditation readiness audits.
- Manage key performance indicators related to quality, safety, and service.
- Collaborate with the Medical Staff to uphold regulations and standards.
- Promote a supportive environment for nurses to deliver quality care.
- Contribute to employee development and engagement through various activities.
- Assist in performance improvement activities and facilitate staff communication.
- Perform all other assigned duties.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school, Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience with at least one (1) year in a specialty area.
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- Current Texas BON (or Compact State) RN license or Temporary TX RN license.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ACLS certification required for certain specialties.
- Additional experience may be required based on specialty or standard of care.
