The Theatre Arts Teacher reports to the Conservatory Director and plays a crucial role in maintaining high organizational and academic standards at the campus, focusing on driving exceptional student achievement outcomes. As a teacher at the Academy of Visual and Performing Arts, the core responsibilities include:

  • Instructional Strategies
    • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum requirements, incorporating different learning styles and assessment methods.
    • Provide tailored instruction to help students reach their full potential across various areas of development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements
  • Preferred certifications in Theatre Arts
  • Ability to uphold academic and artistic standards
