  • No experience required. Manufacturing and Extrusion experience highly preferredThere are multiple departments at Ply Gem.

Extrusion - Packer position: Packer position in an entry level position with some lifting, stacking product in patterns on a cart, keeping it tight and can measure dimensions.

Candidates for this position will need to have the ability to ensure the quality of the product and have a good understanding of time management.


Warehouse:
The warehouse department stores all the completed windows and doors that need to be shipped out. They are pulling and loading windows onto trucks for deliveries.

Glass:
Cuts and assemble the glass components for the windows and doors and delivers them to other production departments for assembly

Slider:
Assemble all of the components of our windows. glass doors, garden windows and custom window orders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:Must have: Do not NEED any specific experience besides manufacturing. Everything is trainable.

The main thing for Ply Gem is having someone who is physically capable of the job, learn new processes, and be reliable/dependable (please verify with reference).


Like to have:
Ideal person has Window production or extrustion experience. There are a lot of companies in the valley that are involved in window manufacturing. If not window experience, any production experience is GREAT but once again, not necessary. Candidates with extrusion experience from another industry besides windows will still be eligible for higher pay.

Working in assembly positions prior is best fit and biggest needExperience with hand/power tools is a plus but not requirement.

Industrial settings are preferred over food manufacturing.
Experience with tape measure is preferred but not requiredMust be bale to lift 50+ pounds daily. Anything more than that will be team lifted.


Must be able to work on feet entire shift
