Job Summary:

Lavu is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Operations Associate to support the CEO and contribute to the efficient functioning of our business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role is critical in ensuring seamless operations, effective project management, and strategic support to the executive team. A high-energy, positive demeanor, a can-do attitude, and a self-starter mentality are essential. Key Responsibilities:

1. Administrative Support:

Manage the CEO's calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.

Prepare and organize meeting materials, agendas, and minutes.

Handle internal and external communications on behalf of the CEO.

2. People Operations Support:

Assist with administrative tasks related to hiring, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.

Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation and training materials are prepared.

Manage offboarding procedures for departing employees, including exit interviews and return of company property.

Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations.

Support employee engagement initiatives and company culture programs.

Be an ambassador of Lavu's culture and values

3. Operational Efficiency:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and optimize business processes.

Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making.

4. Project Management:

Lead and support various business projects from initiation to completion.

Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.

Track project progress, identify potential risks, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

5. Data Analysis and Reporting:

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic initiatives.

Prepare regular reports and presentations for the executive team.

Analyze operational data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.

6. Stakeholder Coordination:

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Coordinate with vendors, partners, and clients as needed.

Assist in the preparation of board meetings and other high-level events.

7. General Support:

Provide administrative and operational support to the executive team as required.

Assist with ad-hoc tasks and special projects to support business objectives.

Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Human Resources, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in business operations, project management, or a similar role.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), GSuite and project management tools.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.

Experience with calendaring and meeting support for senior executives is a plus.

Familiarity with HR processes, including hiring, onboarding, and offboarding, is preferred.

High energy, positive demeanor, a can-do attitude, and a self-starter mentality are essential.
