Senior Data Warehouse Engineer

Job Duties:


Create a flexible data model design in compliance with Kimball methods that is scalable and reusable, while simultaneously emphasizing performance and the enterprise's business needs.

Design reporting ODS, staging area and data marts for different lines of Business to deliver Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).

Create extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) solutions for a high-profile reporting Data Warehouse to provide enhanced Business Intelligence and decision support reporting.

Application of various objects across Informatica Power Center (ETL), Informatica Power Exchange (CDC), and Informatica Master Data Management (MDM).
Responsible for Designing, Developing, Quality Assurance, User Acceptance Testing, and Production Release.

Collaborate with Business Analysts, ETL team and BI team to understand requirements, design the ETL, as well as fill in the gaps between Business Requirement Document (BRD) and technical documents.

Deliver key support to multiple IT teams, business users, combined with creating, maintaining technical and application support documentation.
Tune and solve problems in Oracle databases and many SQL statements for the data warehouse project.
Position is based out of Scottsdale, Arizona HQ, but telecommuting is permitted on a case-by-case basis.

Job Requirements:

Education Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related. Employer accepts foreign equivalent degree.
Experience Requirements: 60 months in job offered, Technical Architect, Team Lead, IT Offshore Department, or closely related.

Special skills requirements:


Experience designing of ETL process(s) to load data from source to staging, foundation and presentation layers of the Data Warehouse.

Experience designing reporting ODS, staging area and data marts for different Lines of Business to deliver Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).

Experience tuning and solving problems in Oracle databases and many SQL statements for the data warehouse project.

Experience creating a flexible data model design in compliance with Kimball methods that is scalable and reusable, while simultaneously emphasizing performance and the enterprise's business needs.

Experience Engineer ETL solution for a high-profile reporting Data Warehouse to provide enhanced Business Intelligence and decision support reporting.

Microsoft Certified:
Azure Data Engineer Associate certification from Microsoft.
