Maintenance Facilities Supervisor

Overview:
Poly-America, L.P., a leading plastics manufacturer, is currently seeking a Maintenance Facilities Supervisor to join our maintenance team. Poly-America produces several lines of polyethylene products including high quality trash bags, construction films, and geomembrane liners. Poly-America is also the most technologically advanced and largest recycler and compounder of polyethylene in the world.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for working with maintenance, engineering and operations when planning equipment installation, preventative maintenance and alterations. Maintain corporate standards and propose upgrades to existing equipment when needed.
Supervise the planning of facilities equipment maintenance and repairs. Ensure that all repairs and projects are done in a safe and timely manner.
Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with all corporate standards.
Develop technical training and other maintenance practices to help eliminate equipment failures and improve employee morale.
Lead by example and prioritize duties with key use of delegating.
Motivate subordinates and foster a team environment.
Represent the maintenance department in departmental meetings.
Identify and solve leading equipment failure contributors.
Qualifications:
2-4 years' experience supervising an industrial maintenance facilities group preferred
Strong AC, air compressor, and chiller background is important for this position
Bachelor's degree preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Effective project management abilities.
