Emergency Psychiatric Technician

Join our team as an Emergency Psychiatric Technician and play a crucial role in providing essential care to patients in a secure environment.

  • Monitor patients with identified risks and implement safety measures.
  • Support general department functions to uphold Emergency Department operations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferably a Bachelor's Degree in psychology or human services.
  • Prior experience in Healthcare, Mental Health, Security, or Public Service is beneficial.

Key Qualifications:

  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
  • Completion of endorsed patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint program within 3 months of hire.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal and observational abilities.
  • Capability to handle high-stress situations with composure and effectiveness.

Pay Range:
$25.66 per hour
