Responsibilities:
Contribute to the planning, design, and execution of in vivo PK and radiolabeled ADME studies in rodents and non-rodents.
Promote and uphold a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the laboratory, actively contributing to an environment where all team members feel respected, included, and can perform at their best.
Perform with mínimal supervision technical aspects of discovery and basic science animal studies, referring only to supervision for consultation/guidance on variations from protocols and suggesting possible alternative methods of approach.
Carry out research and medical treatment regimens for research animals under the guidance of the Veterinarian.
Express and interest to assist in or conduct presurgical, aseptic surgical procedures and perioperative care.
Administer injectable and inhalation anesthetic agents under the guidance of a veterinarian.
Under supervision, independently recognize study/project hurdles (operational, technical and scientific) and propose solutions.
Work independently and be proactive in seeking opportunities, while also contributing positively to team dynamics.
Manage study timelines and objectives, ensure accuracy of study data within corporate databases and project tracking tools.
Communicate study results and data interpretation to cross-functional project teams.
Comply with US and our company's-specific rules and regulations, e.g., Animal Welfare Act, The Guide, 3R principles, FDA and other regulatory bodies.
Work independently and be proactive in seeking opportunities, while also contributing positively to team dynamics.Minimum education required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Qualifications:
- Demonstrable passion for animal care and welfare.
- Willingness to learn technical and scientific skills and a comprehensive understanding of the R&D process.
- Ability to independently recognize challenges (technical, scientific, or studyrelated) and provide relevant input for solution/problem solving.
- Proactive, innovative, and solutionoriented mindset.
- Demonstrable commitment to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive working environment.
- Independence and initiative in seeking new opportunities as well as being a productive team member.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Experience and skills required:
- Perform invivo techniques such as, PO, IV, IM, SQ dosing, blood collection via various routes and follow basic study design requests in the various laboratory animal species.

- Commitment to maintaining high safety and regulatory standards.
