Job Description: Primary Responsibilities:
  • 2nd Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm
  • $2,000 Sign-on Bonus disbursed 6 months after direct hire
  • Additional shift premium for 2nd Shift employees
  • Produce high-quality products by assembling equipment sub-assemblies, modules, and top-level machine systems, following engineering specifications and procedures
  • Verify parts conformity to stock list and blueprints
  • Layout hole locations and drill/tap holes on parts for assembly
  • Check alignment and tolerances of moving parts
  • Test assembly operation manually or with powered controls
  • Set up and run machines to confirm functionality and adherence to specifications using a variety of tools
  • Operate lathes and other metalworking machinery for part manufacturing/repair as necessary
  • Conduct quality control inspections on all manufactured parts, ensuring they meet blueprint requirements
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety protocols
  • Complete other assigned duties as required

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent with two to four years of relevant experience/training, or a comparable combination of education and experience
  • Ability to interpret safety rules, operational/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Proficient in using basic machine shop equipment, hand tools, forklifts, cranes, and material handling equipment
  • Familiarity with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Problem-solving skills, ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment, and interpret various forms of instructions and data
  • Readiness to work overtime to meet production demands and adapt to flexible working hours
  • Demonstrated high safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
  • Work environment: Non-climate controlled
  • Standing and walking are integral to the role
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Bending, twisting, turning, and manual dexterity are required
