We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Machine Lead to join our dynamic and growing team. As the Lead Machinist, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the operations of our CNC machines.

Responsibilities:

Lead a team of CNC machinists and provide guidance and support to ensure efficient and accurate machining operations

Set up and operate CNC machines, troubleshooting any issues that may arise

Collaborate with the production manager to develop and optimize machining processes to meet production targets

Train and mentor new CNC machinists, ensuring their skills are developed and their potential is maximized

Monitor and maintain machine performance, perform routine maintenance, and coordinate repairs as needed

Conduct quality control inspections to ensure that finished products meet specifications

Analyze production data and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste

Ensure compliance with safety protocols and promote a culture of safety among the team

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Proven experience as a CNC machinist, with strong knowledge of CNC machine operation and programming

Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred

Excellent technical skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues

Strong knowledge of machining principles, tooling, and materials

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

Proficient in using precision measuring instruments

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
