Responsibilities

Gregory P Helfrich & Associates, the Claims Litigation Office for State Farm in Summit, NJ, is seeking a litigation attorney to enhance our team. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional communication, organization, time management, and tech skills. This role demands resourcefulness, a strong work ethic, and the ability to independently oversee personal injury litigation from inception to trial while delivering outstanding customer service. Candidates with 3 to 5 years of experience in insurance defense or litigation are preferred, and trial experience is a plus. State Farm is dedicated to the professional growth of our attorneys. This role offers a hybrid work environment with a blend of office and remote work, subject to adjustment based on business requirements.



Qualifications
  • Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic achievements
  • Active New Jersey law license in good standing with the state bar association
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in insurance defense, preferably
  • Proficiency in working within a paperless work setting
  • Strong technical and automation skills
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
