Job Overview:
Join the team at Fortuna Family Medicine Inc., an independent primary care practice. As a Registered Nurse (RN) in this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth patient care by handling various administrative and clinical tasks. Your responsibilities will include overseeing patient flow in the outpatient clinic and providing direct patient care and support to primary care providers.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Checking In Patients: Transition patients from the waiting room to the back office and take vital signs.
- Clinical Tasks:
- Disinfect equipment and surfaces.
- Perform clinical tests like Hgb/Hct, blood glucose, etc.
- Draw Blood.
- Administer injections.
- Assist in procedures.
- Perform various medical tests.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Assist in paperwork processing for diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with the team to enhance clinic processes.
- Participate in community outreach programs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Must hold a valid Nursing License in the state.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical patient care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a new Rural Health Clinic environment.
