The 4D PCU floor focuses on Neuro and Cardiac patient populations and is a 38-bed monitored progressive care unit. Banner Del E. Webb is a certified Primary Stroke Center and has received prestigious accolades like the American Stroke Association's Get with the Guidelines Gold Plus Target Stroke Elite. Our specialized care includes post vascular surgical patients, such as carotid endarterectomies, endoluminal graft repairs, and post tPA patients.

POSITION SUMMARY
This role involves providing managerial and clinical support to patients and staff. Leveraging extensive clinical management knowledge to ensure high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care. Demonstrating clinical expertise and overseeing the leadership of clinical, financial, and personnel management in the designated areas.

CORE FUNCTIONS

  • Manages and facilitates patient-centered nursing care for designated patient populations, serving as a real-time clinical expert for unit staff and physicians.
  • Leads change initiatives, quality improvement programs, and ensures compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Facilitates communication across various levels of the organization.
  • Oversees operational and capital budgets and supports staff leadership development.
  • Responsible for staff selection, orientation, and retention, creating a culture of learning.
  • Manages clinical units to ensure excellent patient care and develops leadership initiatives.
  • Provides an excellent service experience to all Banner Health customers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

BSN or MSN required for all new hires. BSN required for internal transfers/promotions within 6 months. Current RN license and BLS certification mandatory. Two years of relevant clinical management experience essential. Critical thinking, communication, decision-making, and flexibility skills required. Specialty area knowledge necessary.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in nursing preferred. Additional related education/experience beneficial.
