SUNTREE COUNTRY CLUB
Established in 1975, Suntree Country Club is a private, member-owned country club built exclusively for the enjoyment, relaxation, and fellowship of its members, their families, and guests.
Responsibilities
- Provides immediate friendly, positive, and attentive attention to all Members/Guests upon seating.
- Must be willing to learn and remember Member's names.
- Detail orientated in taking food & beverage orders for Members/Guests.
- Maintaining the highest standards of Member Service.
- Memorizing the menu and recommend appetizers, meals and drinks from restaurant wine stock.
- Deliver a memorable dining experience by resolving all Members issues promptly.
- Setting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events.
- Helps patrons select food and beverages by suggesting courses, explaining chef's specialties, identifying appropriate beverage pairings, and answering food preparation questions.
- Service of orders in a timely, efficient manner per standard operating procedures.
- Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
- Remains readily accessible and attentive to Members and guests at all times
- Maintain a high level of safety and cleanliness
- Bus tables as needed
- Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant and inviting Members/Guests to return.
- Ensures Members/Guests are charged correctly.
- Keeps inventory of dining room items. Notifies management when items need to be replenished.
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate and understand the directions of management.
- Must be able to work rapidly during rush periods.
- Able to work with coworkers as a team.
Experience
- 6+months prior Professional Server Experience.
Knowledge/Skills
- Attention to detail
- Organized
- Food Safety regulations and practices
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends
- Ability to walk/stand for up to 8 hours
- Ability to lift and move tables, chairs, and equipment of 40lbs or more. Be able to climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach overhead, pull & push and or lift a tray of 50lbs.
