Canoga is dedicated to providing their clients with cutting-edge network connectivity solutions that have the potential to make a significant impact.Job SummaryCurrently, we are in search of a skilled Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team and contribute to the production of high-tech telecommunications equipment.
This role calls for an individual with proven expertise in inspecting electronic systems, assemblies, components, and mechanical parts to ensure they meet the required specifications.
What you'll doExamine incoming components during Receiving Inspection, including PCBs, Sheet Metal, and Plastic Overlays. Check the alignment and dimensions of parts to ensure they meet the specifications.
Inspect assemblies during the manufacturing process. Compare against blueprints, work orders, and other relevant documentation.Follow cable wiring diagrams to verify the correct routing of wires and the adherence to manufacturing standards for cable lacing and insulation.
Check parts for surface defects like chips, scratches, and pinholes.Review production documents to confirm that all assembly, inspection, and testing procedures were carried out as per specifications.
Assist in packaging the final products as needed.
Other responsibilities may be assigned.
What we're looking forJ
- Having STD 001 Certification is advantageous. IPC A 610 Class 2 Certification is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and assess the layout and wiring installations to identify assembly errors.
Familiarity with MS Office Software (excel, word, and outlook)Ability to interpret engineering changes, drawings, and specifications.
Knowledge of quality management systems and calibration practicesStrong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in mathematics. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
