Regional Chief Engineer

Are you a visionary leader with a passion for engineering and innovation? As our Regional Chief Engineer, you'll oversee and elevate Engineering Services across multiple markets.

You'll be the go-to expert in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and base building systems, driving strategic initiatives, financial management, and team leadership.

This role combines the excitement of cutting-edge technology with the satisfaction of mentoring teams and optimizing building performance. Occasional overtime may be required. This is an exempt position and not eligible for overtime.

Compensation:
$120-135K
Key Responsibilities

Lead & Inspire:
Mentor and lead engineering teams to achieve unparalleled performance and innovation.

Optimize Systems:
Manage and enhance CMMS and BMS systems, including advanced programming and code writing.

Drive Efficiency:
Generate performance metrics, oversee budget planning, and provide strategic capital expense recommendations.

Innovate for Savings:
Monitor energy and water usage to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.

Ensure Excellence:
Guarantee regulatory compliance, drive safety programs, and conduct thorough performance reviews.

Collaborate & Conquer:
Work seamlessly with Property Management, Project Management, Marketing, Leasing, Accounting, HR, and more to achieve optimal building operations.

Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years of supervisory experience in Class A commercial office building operations and maintenance.

Expertise:
Strong electrical/HVAC background with proficiency in blueprint and schematic interpretation.

Knowledge:
Deep understanding of local, state, and federal codes and regulations.

Skills:
Outstanding organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Technical Proficiency:
Mastery of CMMS, MS Office, and BMS; EPA Universal certification required.
Specialized
Knowledge:
Familiarity with vertical transportation systems, sustainable energy practices, and keyway systems.

Leadership:
Exceptional people management and project management skills.

Driving:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Education and Experience

Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in a related technical field.

Desirable:
Trade School Certification, BOMA, BOMI, IFMA, and IREM designations.

Advantageous:
LEED designation and progressive experience.

Travel:
Local travel required.
