Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role as a Plant Health Care Technician. As a Plant Health Care Technician, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to tree and plant health care. This includes performing tree and plant health treatments, diagnosing diseases and insect infestations, providing recommendations for treatment plans, and conducting regular inspections to identify potential issues. The role is primarily located in San Diego, CA, with the flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Experience or knowledge in forestry, landscaping, or related field
  • Ability to provide patient care to plants and trees
  • Knowledge of tree and plant diseases, pests, and treatments, with a desire to learn more.
  • Attention to detail and ability to diagnose and solve problems
  • Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Qualified Applicators License (QAL) or degree in arboriculture or related field is a plus
