Responsibilities

  • Maintain positive and productive working relationships with overseas partners, maintaining a strong line of communication and resolution processes.
  • Communicates effectively across the organization to ensure key stakeholders are updated with business critical information consistently.
  • Strategically plan and implement continuous process improvement or procedure enhancements.
  • Work with multiple cross functional teams to drive process improvement upstream and avoid delays and rework at time of delivery.
  • Empower teams to hold factories accountable to meeting ship dates and quality specs, as well as guiding the team to keep information correct and current in ERP by pro-actively tracking open PO's and reviewing QC data with standardized reports.
  • Maintain organized system for purchase orders to ensure quick and easy search and find. Track and maintain accurate information for business pertinent information related to the role.
  • As required, review and approve factory confirmation details such as cost, box dimensions, fabric yield, commodity description, ship date and ship method. Support the team by creating and entering purchase orders as needed.
  • Use available means to proactively resolve issues such as past due reports, open PO reports, purchase order data audits, price reports, comment reports, air freight reports, emails and phone calls.
  • Consistently exhibit key leadership competencies – prepared at meetings, responds to requests timely, offers solutions to efficiently and accurately resolve problems, consistently meet deadlines, agile to reprioritize throughout the day and week.

Qualifications

  • College Degree or Requisite Experience in Supply Chain Field, Preferred
  • 10+ years' experience in Purchasing, Operations, Supply Chain; 5+ years team leadership, 5+ years ERP experience
  • Office 365 Proficient, ERP (i.e. SAP) required
  • Positive, problem-solving attitude
