About the Executive Director Position
Goodwin Living is seeking an exceptional Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to serve as the Executive Director of The View Alexandria (TVA).
TVA currently serves 24 residents in its nursing home, not governed by CMS, and an additional 130 independent and assisted living residents with support of 150 committed team members.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the TVA Executive Director plays a lead role in setting goals, setting the operational vision for excellence and innovation, aligning systems for maximum effectiveness in service delivery, and developing talent for the community.
Resident Satisfaction and Quality of Life
Ensures that services provided are consistent with the Resident Agreement, mission-focused and consistent with the organization's values.
Maintains and enhances resident relations, meeting with the Resident Council and various resident committees
Monitors internal and external environment, constantly evaluating programs, goals and services to ensure the needs of the residents and the operational requirements of the organization are being met.
Maintains open lines of communication with team members, monitors and surveys team member satisfaction, and develops appropriate action plans to address opportunities for improvement.
Ensures compliance with corporate polices, GL standards and procedures and regulatory compliance, and evaluating the performance of staff, recommending and implementing personnel actions.
Regulatory ComplianceMonitors and ensures regulatory compliance with all state, federal and other governing agencies.
Serves as licensed Administrator of Record for Assisted Living.
Serves as the Administrator of Record for the Health Care Center
Financial Performance
Develops, manages and monitors operating and capital budgets for TVA and corporate programs under span of responsibility.
Coordinates with COO and CFO, and department heads on significant changes, improvements, and/or modifications in major capital expenditures, programs or services, personnel, staffing and operating structure.
Leads the annual operating and capital budget development process for TVA; coordinates with COO, CFO and department heads to develop annual operating and capital budgets.
Monitors and assures financial well-being of TVA, achieves agreed-upon financial targets and goals and communicates results to residents, management team and team members.
Assists with the development of and provides responsibility for the implementation of the organization's mission, philosophy, values, and goals.
Assists with the development of corporate policies and goals, ensures the understanding of such by residents and staff and oversees the implementation.

Job Requirements
A leader who possesses a Master's degree in Health Care Administration or related field.
A high-level senior care professional with substantial leadership experience, who possesses an advanced degree in an area outside of the preferred areas of study, may also be considered.
A licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
An executive with outstanding business skills who possesses excellent financial leadership, team development, interpersonal relations, strategic planning and operations capability.
A successful track record of maintaining strong, positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
