Data Scientist

  • At least 1 year of experience in data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python or R), or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab, etc.)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a data scientist
  • 3 years of expertise in machine learning/statistical modeling data analysis tools and techniques, understanding the parameters that influence their performance
  • Proven track record of applying theoretical models in practical settings
  • Proficiency in Python, Perl, or similar scripting languages
  • Educational background in Statistics, Data Science, or Mathematics
  • Experience with LLM and working with large technology companies

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of WBR P0 metrics anomalies
  • Assist in internal audits by providing sample data for different batches
  • Manage data submission and retrieval from AI annotation services
  • Perform quality audits and calculations
  • Prepare datasets of high quality for testing models
  • Collaborate with scientists and SDEs to automate model evaluation and enhance data quality

Key Duties:

  • Understand the business objectives for generated answers and assess their quality using LLM models
  • Transform content quality issues into data science challenges with appropriate assumptions
  • Develop strategies to sample data from diverse evaluation datasets and compare our LLM against competitors
  • Devise solutions to enhance data quality through experiments and collaboration with PM and applied scientists

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Mastery of data querying, scripting languages, and statistical tools
  • Previous experience in data science positions

Compensation:

$47.00 per hour

Pay Rate:

Up to $47.00 per hour

Expected Weekly Hours:

No more than 40 hours
