Position Details

  • Lead the team responsible for developing, building, and supporting the university's data warehouse.
  • Develop strategies, implementation of reporting tools, and collaborate with various departments.
  • Standardize and document data architecture across enterprise systems.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide oversight for planning and implementing core data warehouse systems.
  • Lead the reporting and dashboarding infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to manage data governance policy.
  • Create a vision and plan for the Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence team.
  • Develop processes and best practices for reliable and sustainable operations.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and career development opportunities to team members.
  • Ensure projects stay on track and meet deadlines.
  • Manage the operating budget for the team.
  • Research and recommend solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure data security and privacy standards are met.
  • Participate in professional development activities and perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Seven or more years of professional experience.
  • Experience in leadership or management roles.
  • Proficient in reporting and analytic software.
  • Ability to write SQL and work with various reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Understanding and respect for diversity.
