SummaryA successful IT/Controls System Technician must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks, and operating systems.

The ideal candidate will also have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.

Principal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide support for all information and manufacturing system operations activities (multi-shift), including computer and network operations, troubleshooting, data control/security, documentation, software version control, change control, security, backup/recovery, and system performance.

Label printers, barcode scanners, and label design.
Working with in-motion scales and bench scales.
Power BI and SQL is a plus.

Programming, implementation, testing, and documentation of a control system which may include programming of one or more parts of the control system.

This would include advanced programming of the PLC, and/or the HMI (Human Machine Interface), and/or databases.
Configuration, installation, and troubleshooting of PC/PLC hardware and software, and networks.
Other duties as applicable as necessary.
Minimum EducationAssociates degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
Experience Requirements2 year related work experience or in the absence of an Associate degree.
Experience PreferredEnvironmental Factors and Physical RequirementsPosition is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving between buildings.
May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
