Job Description:
  • As a part of our growing quality team, this role will partner with our calibration engineers to ensure the measurement & test equipment used to build space vehicles and rocket engines are calibrated and cycled on schedule.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Triage work incoming to the calibration office and balance team priority.
  • Organize work in progress to promote efficient and transparent workflow.
  • Manage logistics for vendor calibrations.
  • Manage procurement for calibrations from established vendors.
  • Make database updates to incoming ask
  • Utilize digital tools to maintain the organization of WIP and throughput.
  • Pull existing reports and format them for distribution.
  • Interface with internal customers on status requests.
  • Interface with calibration vendors on status and tracking updates.
  • Assist the manufacturing team with device recall & notification.

Qualification:
Required
  • 1 year in a calibration industry role.
  • 3+ years in a manufacturing or logistics organizational role.
  • 2 years using data organization tools (spreadsheets, databases, etc.) to maintain, organize & track technical information.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (current Green Card holder).
  • Physical ability
  • Lift 20lbs
  • Walk up 2 flights of stairs
  • Push cart with 100lbs of load

Desired:
  • 3 years in a calibration industry role.
  • Experience with industry quality and configuration control system methodologies (AS9100, ISO:9001, ISO:17025).
  • Experience in customer service.
