Summary of Responsibilities/Duties:

Execute job duties delegated to you by the Project Foreman.

Ensure accuracy and time efficiency of pulling cable, terminating panels and dressing racks to 5WM standards.

Develop termination skills including, but not limited to, soldering, crimping and punch down blocks for all low voltage cable installations.

Become familiar with audio, video & lighting control systems and the ability to perform low-level patching and programming of said systems.

Make sure that work sites are cleaned and cleared of any hazardous materials prior to the start of the construction project and throughout the installation period.

Ensure that all machinery and tools are available to the crew and everything is in proper order and state of maintenance.

Assist in receiving, transport, and organizing of all on-site materials, supplies, tools and procured equipment.

Assist Project Foreman to ensure that proper quality is maintained and that schedules are being followed.

When assigned, enter data into Salesforce and ensure that any significant information is communicated to the Project Foreman and or Project Manager.

Requirements

What we are looking for:

Experience as an Audio Visual Technician

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $ $28.00 per hour

Schedule:
  • 8-10 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Phoenix, AZ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
  • Audio Visual Technician: 2 years (Required)
  • Extensive experience working with, building, and running Cat5e/6 cabling
  • Proficient at texting and troubleshooting low voltage cable
  • Some previous technical or in field experience is recommended but not required
  • Must be willing to learn new skills, follow instruction, and apply and maintain consistent attention to detail
  • Always uphold professionalism and courteousness in the presence of crew and customers on site
  • Minimum training/education requirements of this job are recommended to be a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
This position has no Supervisory Responsibilities
