Job Title: Vehicle Maintenance Technician at SP+

Job Description:
This role involves thorough inspections, quality repairs, and maintenance to ensure the deployment of safe and reliable vehicles for revenue service at the project.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain vehicles for safety, reliability, and passenger comfort as per SP+ Fleet Services standards.
  • Perform quality maintenance inspections and repairs on assigned vehicles and equipment.
  • Execute maintenance duties efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Stay updated on equipment and vehicle technicalities through continuous training programs.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, the candidate must meet the following criteria:
*Education/Experience:* High School Diploma or equivalent. Training from a technical school would be beneficial. Previous experience as a Mechanic or Vehicle Maintenance Technician preferred.

Certifications:
*Must possess or be willing to obtain relevant ASE certifications.

License Requirement:
  • Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.

Medical Card:
  • DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate) is mandatory.

Hand Tools:
  • Adequate hand tools must be available for maintenance duties.

Availability to Work:
  • Flexibility in shifts including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends as per location's requirements.

Minimum Age Requirement:
Must be 21 years or older.

Language Skills:
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

Mathematical Skills:
  • Proficiency in basic mathematical operations related to job tasks.

Appearance:
  • Maintain a professional appearance in uniform at all times.
