As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be leveraging your experience working on a public facing enterprise portal.

Joining our team as a Senior Software Engineer, you will apply your experience with technology to creatively push the boundaries of what's possible for our internal teams, elevating Justworks' technological foundation.
Scope, prioritize, and execute against the website roadmap in collaboration with internal and external technical teamsIndependently own larged-scoped projects from initial discovery through QA and launch
Actively participate in managing the website stack, identifying and resolving issues to help maintain a performant website and larger strategic decisions around website architecture
Collaborate with a cross functional team to find solutions to customer challenges
Improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of our existing systems
Take ownership of designing and developing functionalities that are exposed via web
Promote engineering excellence through technical leadership, knowledge-sharing and mentorship
Add capabilities to our high-volume, fault-tolerant processing infrastructure
Enhance our testing, monitoring and continuous deployment infrastructure
Keep extremely sensitive data compartmentalized and secure
Work within and expand upon existing agile and sprint working methods

Minimum of 5 years of professional hands-on experience
Experience implementing complex and reusable UI with animation, responsiveness and accessibility
Experience with front end frameworks, libraries, and tooling
Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML5/DOM, CSS3, and related web technologies
Experience working with design systems and component-based frontend
Experience with CMS systems
Experience supporting other engineers and acting as a "tech lead"
Experience working closely with designers and product managers
Strong object-oriented design and coding skills
Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
Experience building new feature from scratch, using clean, organized, and scalable code
Experience working with complicated systems at scale
Experience working using Agile/Scrum methodology in a fast-paced environment
Experience in a high-growth environment working with deadlines and milestones
