DUTY STATEMENT AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a caseload, conduct group and individual recovery sessions.
  • Engage in community outreach, education, and prevention activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for program and client needs.
  • Collaborate with the Residential Coordinator on program updates.
  • Ensure compliance with house rules and regulations.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of residents and visitors.
  • Attend court sessions with clients when necessary.
  • Pursue opportunities for professional growth and certification.
  • Stay updated on counseling practices and substance dependency issues.
  • Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Completion of a drug studies certificate program.
  • Certification under CAADE, CCAPP, or CADTP.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a residential setting.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Understanding of alcohol/drug addiction and recovery.
  • If in recovery, a minimum of 2 years of continuous sobriety.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
