Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Operations Specialist to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR operations, process improvement, and employee data management. As an HR Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in streamlining HR processes and optimizing the employee experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee day-to-day HR operations, including employee data management, onboarding, offboarding, benefits, and compensation administration.
  • Optimize and maintain HRIS system (UKG) to optimize data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and documentation in accordance with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve HR processes and workflows.
  • Conduct audits of HR processes and data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on HR systems and processes, providing guidance and support to HR staff and managers.
  • Handle employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and compensation.
  • Assist in employee relations matters, including investigations and conflict resolution.
  • Assist with culture, engagement, and other HR activities and processes to ensure Fishbowl maintains and powerful and positive work environment.
  • Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure HR compliance.
  • Support special projects and initiatives related to HR operations and process improvements.
  • Support HR Business Partner activities as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR operations or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., UKG strongly preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Experience in project management and process improvement initiatives is a plus.
  • HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred but not required.
