Department: Tennessee Corrections Institute Training Division

- Join us in shaping a safer, more effective future.Develop high-quality training curricula tailored to corrections and law enforcement, including core and specialized content.
- Perform comprehensive research on current events and industry trends to assess and define training needs.
- Work collaboratively with training staff to establish and achieve short-term and long-term curriculum goals.
- Ensure effective communication with team members to deliver all projects within deadlines.
- Participate in both virtual and in-person meetings to align strategies and progress with team objectives.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to maintain and enhance the effectiveness of existing training materials.
- Utilize the ACADIS/FTACS platform (TCIs Learning Management System) proficiently to design, manage, and evaluate training programs and events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in corrections, criminal justice, or related field preferred, but not required.
- Previous experience in law enforcement, corrections, or related field is highly preferred.
- Previous experience in creating training content is highly preferred.
- Above average proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and outside professionals.
- Ability to consistently meet performance deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to develop training curriculum, training content, and points of instruction.
