Job Summary

University Advancement and ETSU Athletics is accepting applications for a Director of Development, Athletics.

Responsible to the Associate Vice President for University Advancement and the Assistant Athletic Director for Revenue Development for developing and coordinating a comprehensive strategic fundraising plan for the ETSU Buccaneer Athletics; conducting activities to raise private support; cultivating donor relationships with individuals, foundations, and the corporate and business sectors; and performing other related duties as assigned.

The position devotes approximately 80% time to the ETSU Buccaneer Athletics and 20% of its time to University Advancement.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
Three (3) years of experience in alumni, fundraising, development, or related experience in higher education is required.
Three (3) years of experience in relevant sales or relationship-building experience will also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity and experience with athletics in a university setting.
