Role Overview:
The Site-based Program Coordinator (SBPC) is a key position in our team, responsible for managing and enhancing a comprehensive mentoring program aimed at supporting students from 6th grade to college. As the SBPC, you will play a crucial role in coordinating on-site mentorship activities, fostering positive relationships, and ensuring the success of our program. This position reports directly to the Program Director.


Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and onboard mentors with the necessary skills and knowledge
  • Conduct mentor training sessions on relevant topics for effective support
  • Evaluate and analyze program outcomes to make data-driven recommendations
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders and provide updates
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to attract potential mentors and mentees
  • Plan mentorship events and activities for different age groups
  • Recognize and appreciate the contributions of mentors and mentees
  • Develop resources to support mentors and enhance the overall experience
  • Provide guidance and support to students facing challenges
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for stakeholders
  • Attend program events, workshops, and training sessions as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, social work, or related field
  • Experience in mentoring programs or educational support initiatives
  • Pass background checks and have a valid driver's license
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
  • Organizational and project management skills
  • Knowledge of best practices in mentoring and student support
