Description:

  • Design, develop, and validate control systems and algorithms for next-gen haptic actuators
  • Analyze and integrate control systems for haptic actuators
  • Characterize and validate haptic module and system performance
  • Perform system modeling, simulation, and failure mode analysis
  • Define factory test requirements and author engineering specifications
  • Collaborate across functions and manage communication effectively
  • Opportunity for international travel to support product development
  • Generate intellectual property (IP)

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in control engineering, dynamics, and signal processing
  • Hands-on experience in control system design, analysis, and implementation
  • Familiarity with electro-mechanical system modeling and Matlab/Simulink, C/C++
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in collaborative environments
  • Experience with electromagnetic or piezoelectric actuators and high-volume production is a plus
  • Knowledge of microcontrollers, embedded hardware/software, state-space and nonlinear control techniques

Education & Experience: BS degree with 3+ years of industry experience
