Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians during office visits as directed
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures like skin testing, pulmonary function testing, and blood draws
  • Administer immunotherapy injections and maintain treatment records
  • Handle emergency cases, including CPR when needed
  • Provide telephone support to patients, giving instructions and handling prescription refills
  • Manage reactions to immunotherapy
  • Maintain a clean and safe medical office environment
  • Educate patients on their conditions, treatment plans, and more
  • Additional duties as assigned


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience as an LPN or MA
  • Ability to handle diverse care tasks and collaborate in a team setting
  • Willingness to travel to different office locations as required
  • Familiarity with health and safety standards in clinics
  • Understanding of confidentiality and nursing best practices
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology
  • Valid LPN licensure in GA
  • Familiarity with clinic procedures and protocols
  • Proficient in record-keeping
  • Previous medical environment experience preferred
  • Effective communication skills with patients and colleagues
  • Desirable experience with allergy and asthma
