SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF TEACHER'S ASSISTANT OPPORTUNITY
- Assist classroom teacher with lesson delivery, classroom management, and material development
- Track student progress throughout the day, sometimes with the use of charts or graphics
- Empower students with strategies that enhance their strengths
- Help teacher facilitate technology in the classroom when necessary
- Provide an encouraging and supportive presence to students
- Monitor the classroom to minimize distractions and disruptions
- Working with toddler and preschool children on social skills and day to day skills
- Minimum of a High School Diploma
- Associate degree, Parapro a plus
- Ability to complete and pass clearances: FBI, Child Abuse Clearance and State Criminal Background
- Establish a relationship with one of the nation's largest referral agencies for education and behavioral-health.
- Compensated weekly.
