Adecco has partnered with a leading global manufacturer to recruit and hire a Manufacturing Engineer for their facility located about 35 minutes from Lancaster, SC

Job Summary:
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure quality standards are met.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and resolve production issues.
Conduct analysis and provide recommendations for equipment upgrades, layout changes, and workflow enhancements.

Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes and systems.
Analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address inefficiencies.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure product specifications are met.
Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Evaluate new technologies and equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Provide technical support and training to production staff on new processes and equipment.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for manufacturing deviations and non-conformances.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure process reliability and safety.
Participate in project teams for new product introductions and process validations.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering3+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or process engineering. 5+ years preferred.
Project management experience and ability to manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency with engineering/manufacturing software and process simulation tools.

(AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Minitab, ERP/MRP, etc...)Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies and tools for continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.

Basic understanding of PLC systems, programming, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems (preferred).
