  • Teach CAD design principles on SolidWorks to our team members and new hires needing to enhance their skills
  • Collaborate with the team in conceptualizing, designing, and developing innovative solutions for our customers
  • Create detailed drawings of components and assemblies for product design and manufacturing
  • Conduct feasibility studies and analyze design concepts for functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Provide feedback to improve the quality & performance of designs
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to resolve design-related issues and optimize the manufacturing processes
  • Stay current on the latest trends, advancements, and best practices in CAD software & engineering methodologies

CK Manufacturing seeks a proficient Design Engineer experienced in SolidWorks to create product prints for various applications, including cattle control equipment, dairy barn layouts, renovations, and trailers for tiny homes and truck bodies. We are looking for someone who enjoys sharing their expertise in SolidWorks with our current team. Since 1998, CK Manufacturing has served dairy farmers by manufacturing and installing cattle control equipment. Our range of products and services covers everything from hobby farms & show barns to serious dairy operations. We provide one-day installations, repairs, and renovations for dairy barns in Lancaster County and the surrounding regions. We are committed to honoring God and being a light to the world.


Our Ideal Design Engineer:

  • Experienced: 5+ years of experience as a CAD engineer or in a similar role using SolidWorks.
  • Skilled: Must be proficient in SolidWorks and can train other employees.
  • Patient: Someone who enjoys teaching and is patient and encouraging.
  • Team Player: Someone who is professional, maintains a positive & courteous attitude, and has an excellent work ethic. Humble enough to admit mistakes & driven to do a great job.
  • Self-motivated: Assesses the work required, has the initiative to get started, the ability to work independently, and the drive to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Conscientious: Care about work quality & take pride in your work. Do your part to ensure the job is done right & the equipment is used respectfully and put back in place.
  • Professional: Maintains a neat, orderly appearance at work.
