Description

The role of Medical Intake Coordinator is crucial in meeting the specific needs of the WTCHP member population. If you enjoy being the key connection between medical services, case management, and member services through handling health questionnaires, then this position is for you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the WTCH program by administering and processing health questionnaires, documenting case summaries, and reviewing medical documents from your home office.
  • Conduct program exposure and health questionnaires with members.
  • Prepare written summaries for providers based on questionnaire reviews.
  • Collaborate with member services to facilitate the health evaluation process.
  • Address documentation omissions or deficiencies.
  • Review medical and administrative documents for accuracy.
  • Evaluate health packets and escalate for Medical Director review when needed.
  • Review medical documentation for escalation or review and refer to Supervisor as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma, associate degree (or higher) in a relevant field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in medical record review, triage, customer service, or related areas.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and general computer skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to timely follow-ups.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must pass preliminary credit and background checks.
