Specific Job Details:
- Work with a Biddeford High School and Alternative Pathways Center students with social/emotional and behavioral needs.
- Provide both group and individual Social Work and working in tandem with staff to support and implement social/emotional curriculum.
- Responsible for communicating with parents, attending IEP Meetings and Measuring Social Work Goals.
- - Licensed Social Worker

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Licensed by State of Maine Social Work Registration Board.
2. Successful experience working with children and families.
3. Knowledge of and experience working with community and state agencies.
4. Valid DOE Criminal Record History Check

REPORTS TO: Building Administrator

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Supports students and families to promote academic, social and emotional growth.
2. Facilitating referrals to the Department of Human Services per school committee policy.
3. Coordinating and consulting with community resources, and other interested community residents.
4. Organizing and providing training programs for parents.
5. Maintaining complete records on all in-school referrals and case management.
