Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)
to join our team in Washington DC (hyrbid) or a remote location.
What you will do:
In this role you will be focused on the design and implementation of Amida's software platforms, applications, and features in a full-stack capacity.
You will proactively participate in every aspect of the software development lifecycle including design, implementation, test design, test implementation, optimization, and delivery utilizing the latest technologies.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
Experience developing software applications in an Agile environment
10+ years of experience in software engineering and development
3+ years of back-end development experience including NodeJS
2+ years of front-end development experience including React
1+ years of front-end development experience including utilizing component and stylesheet libraries such as MaterialUI and Tailwind etc
1+ years of development utilizing TypeScript
Familiarity with Relational Databases and SQL
Experience using Git/GitHub
Experience in handling and transforming healthcare data
A firm grasp of RESTful API design and scalable web architecture
Experience with continuous integration/build automation tools such as GitHub Actions Workflow, Jenkins, etc
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and drive to deliver best-in-class software products
Preferred Skills:
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
Deep understanding of frontend testing, including UI testing via frameworks such as Puppeteer or Playwright
Deep understanding of test-driven/behavior-driven development
Experience with container-based technologies such as Docker & Kubernetes
Experience at integrating with AWS or Azure cloud-based services
