Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Indianapolis

Position Overview:
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the school year in Indianapolis, Indiana. The SLP will play a vital role in providing speech and language therapy services to students across various grade levels, helping them to achieve their communication goals and succeed academically.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders and develop individualized treatment plans for students.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders, targeting areas such as articulation, phonology, language, fluency, and pragmatics.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom and home environments.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to support achievement of communication goals.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of students' individualized education programs.
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff on strategies for supporting students with communication needs in the classroom.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current license to practice speech-language pathology in the state of Indiana.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience working as an SLP in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech and language therapy and experience with a variety of assessment and intervention techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students and work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
